Description: The centrifuge specified herein is of the horizontal solid bowl type. The selection of this type of equipment is based on the ability of the centrifuge to produce sludge of a concentration and nature that is economically conveyed and processed in subsequent operations. This centrifuge will be a solid bowl, horizontal, scroll type unit, and was specifically designed to handle medium to high specific gravity suspended solids organic or inorganic such as tailings, lime and silts and sediments. Final throughput capacities will be dependent on the actual application. The decanter will be capable of continuous operations with minimum maintenance.
